Training department offers many BLOX resources

Did you know that the training department at TownNews.com provides weekly training sessions on our new BLOX CMS?
Trainings are broken out into various short classes that allow you to learn at your own pace. Start with the basic Asset Management 101 and then move on to Asset Management 201. In addition to Asset Management, we have classes for User/Comment Management 210, Block Management 220 and Banner Ad Management 230. Most sessions are only 30-45 minutes long depending on the amount of questions asked.
Can’t make it to one of our scheduled classes? No problem! We have created a number of pre-recorded trainings that you can watch when it is convenient for you! With pre-recorded trainings, we are able to provide additional training classes beyond what we are able to with live classes. BLOX Overview 100 and Web Analytics 238 are two video classes that are not currently offered live on a weekly basis but are still available through video for your convenience. In the coming weeks, we plan to debut video training classes for our Ad Market Classifieds as well as Best Practices for Multimedia Creation in BLOX.
With each training class we encourage you to take what you have learned and apply it. Each of our BLOX customers is provided with their own training site while they are working with their project manager to get their regular BLOX site up and running. This training site gives you a place to practice what you have learned and play with the system without fear of causing issues to your actual BLOX site.
Not a classroom learner or need additional material? We have written documentation for all of our BLOX products. Visit our documentation site, docs.townnews.com, and check out the BLOX CMS category for manuals on all things BLOX. Manuals are organized into subcategories that correspond to the menu in the top left hand corner of the BLOX admin. All manuals can be printed for reference, although we encourage you to check back from time to time as we do update documentation as new features come out.
