TownNews.com offers you state-of-the-art automation technology, helping more than 1,500 newspapers publish interactive editions online. Member newspapers include dailies, weeklies and shoppers from groups and independents in all 50 states.
While especially noted for our classified and display advertising conversion systems, we also go into communities to help your advertising representatives sell online. This Special Web Advertising Team (SWAT) offers sales training and consulting, while earning online revenue for your newspaper.
One of the ways we like to show our appreciation is by writing checks to our customers. This process can begin when you join our national advertising network, DotConnect Media (DCM).
Additionally, we are the managing partner of The Job Network, which helps more than 650 sites nationwide.
TownNews.com was founded as the International Newspaper Network (INN) in 1989 to help community newspapers deal with developing technology by Marc Wilson, Robert P. Dalton and Virginia R. Wilson, owners of the weekly Bigfork (Mt.) Eagle. Lee Enterprises (LEE on the New York Stock Exchange) of Davenport, Iowa, became majority partner in 1996.
Over the years, INN has acquired Any Time News, fyndesign, Zwire!, AdQuest and DotConnect Media. We are headquartered in Moline, Ill. and have regional sales offices in Florida, Minnesota, California, Indiana, Missouri and Oregon.
